A little trip to Japan - Suzuki Store..Kokedama bonsai, grocery, high end gift store for Japan lovers. Nomnom Kitchen...A quick place to get Sukiyaki bowl, Tuna/Salmon bowl, Tofu bowl, Bento box, several assortments of Japanese desserts like Matcha Mousse made by our pastry chef. accompanied with variety of green tea to choose from.
Very low quality and tasteless food. Ordered with a delivery service and since the chicken was spoiled, and the rest of the food was without any taste, it all ended up in a bin. The worst thing are side dishes, one small spoon of canned beans, and one spoon of very tasteless cut pickles. Avoid by any means if you wish for quality Japanese food.
nice homemade daifuku mochi and clean tasting/ flavorful main dishes
I love their ichigo daifuku, the strawberry mochi. I really want to know where do they give these large, juicy and sweet strawberries. Do they home grow it because I've rarely found strawberries at the supermarket that are this high quality. I haven't been to Japan but I've heard the quality of strawberries there, although expensive, are one of the most delicious in the world. I'd be shock if they import this from Japan but they've definitely met the Japanese standards for strawberries! The mochi is so soft, i think it's freshly made because the store bought mochi has some preservatives and the texture isn't as soft and tender as this. In terms of food, I've gotten their Karaage (Japanese fried chicken) bento box which is available every Saturday. It's definitely not fresh, hot off the oil fried chicken since it's a bento lunch box so it's cold. I prefer fresh hot fried chicken but I can't deny that the seasoning is right on. The chicken is moist and flavorful so i really enjoyed it as a bento box option. I hate dry chicken so i give points here for the juiciness. They also offer small snacks if you're only a tad bit hungry like onigiri (rice balls). My personal favorite is the salmon onigiri.
After being München for almost a year, can I say I finally find my favourite restaurant for everyday food! The miso soup, the thinly sliced tender beef, the sweet favoured pork, the silky tofu, the spicy edamame, the udon soup that packed with Umami flavour, I love everything that being made from Suzuki Nomnom kitchen. Plus, the super cute Japanese handcrafts and kitchen ware can always spark joy, And what’s more, the smiley and nice staffs, always a bonus! If you love Japan home-cooking,this restaurant slash shop is a must go!!
Great lunch spot! Authentic and reasonbly priced.
This restaurant has real potential to become my new favorite, the location is super easy to get to! The good transport connections make a jaunt there quickly and the restaurant blew us away pretty much. Great value for money. Not only the attentive staff was the total bestseller during our visit, but also the unique ambience.
I love Suzuki Nom Nom Kitchen! Atmosphere like in Japan, calm and relaxed. I especially recommend the onigiri set with 3 onigiri, miso soup, tsukemono and vegetables. The daily changing bentos are also balm for the soul. The highlight again and again: homemade Ichigo Daifuku❤️ We come here regularly and have always been pleasantly surprised!
We would have liked to have eaten here, but after waiting over 45 minutes for a soup it was enough for us. Information it would take about 10 minutes.
Japanese shop with a small restaurant. Very polite friendly service, just like in Japan. The meal was delicious! You can taste that it was done with love. Recommend only!
Very good food
Well cooked! Small but fine shop, currently (due to corona? ..) only two tables inside + seating outside (shop front to the street = not very attractive). The menu is straightforward, but the food is fresh - if something's out, it only helps to come again ? Prices for Japanese food in Munich are normal. Recommended drink: Macha calpis. Warning, Spicy Edamame are REALLY spicy (as an Edamame fan I would not order it again ...).
Very tasty and fresh original Japanese food. Ordered on delivery, the Donburi was very nicely prepared and nicely packed :)
Very very delicious Japanese authentic food! The owners are super friendly ?
Very good service and nice service. The food also tasted great. Top!
We had the soupless ramen and the udon noodle soup - both was delicious. The spicy udon are also very recommendable! Go! Also the interior design is really nice. And the owner is adorably sweet
Genuine and tasty japanese restaurant with a cool vibe and amazing food. I love the decoration of the place, cozy and traditional. The service is friendly and super nice. And food was excellent. I would highly recommend you to try their miso soup and one of their poke bowls. During lunch time, they have a daily menu which is super affordable (9,50€) and worth trying. And after 16:00 they have a Special menu that I would love to try. Unfortunately they close at 20:00 so you will have to do an early dinner.
Very tasty ,. authentic bowl and great service. We were the last guests, were served very nicely and even got a small fruit dessert at the end.
It is a restaurant that Japanese people can enjoy even if they eat it! I want to eat fried balls and green onions in Japan! It is a very nice shop with a good personality of a Japanese shopkeeper.
I just ate the POKE SALMON and would have loved to cheat myself .... so delicious !!! It was the best Japanese food I have had the pleasure of getting to know in Munich. The service is extremely friendly and I am a little sad that I do not live in the immediate vicinity and can eat there more often. A small, fine shop that really stands out from the crowd! Thank you :-)
Real Japanese cuisine in the heart of Munich. Effortless food at an affordable price. The Japanese tea goes great with it. I highly recommend it.
I ordered a mixed vermicelli, a matcha cake. Assorted noodles are very comfortable to eat, just like the ones that will be brought out at home. The matcha cake is also good.
Insider tip for delicious Japanese dishes. Very personable and lovely employees! The room is both a small restaurant and a shop at the same time and is nevertheless pleasantly stress-free.
Japanese recommend Japanese food restaurant. That means pretty good Japanese taste.
Loved the food, fantastic tea in huge bowls and great mochi!
Great restaurant! Friendly, simple very good food and a small shop is also there! Really authentic Japanese cuisine that you will never find here. Price also very suitable. We recommend. A must!!
Very cozy Japanese restaurant with authentic Japanese food. This place is my favourite in Munich! Poke salmon is delicious!?
Absolutely delicious ! Feels like your stepping into grandma’s made with love kitchen ! Prices are high but when it comes to home cooking it’s priceless !
Authentic Japanese and super tasty
The restaurant/cafe is the only one which serves Japanese home cooling in Munich central area. Not only Japanese cuisine but also beverages you can enjoy!
Delicious food with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. The staff was also very friendly :)

Amazing food
True japanese udon soup! It was really good! neat and delicious.
Neat and nice place for homemade Japanese food. Light source and nature taste.
My New Favorite Restaurant in Munich!!!! So good, yaaaaay!!!! I ordered 2 dinners (oyako don and udon) and dessert (mochi) all for myself plus lunch the next day and dinner and dessert for my boyfriend. He can't wait to go there with me after eating his tofu don and is now a mochi addict! By the way I am also SUPER picky about food and I lived in Japan for nearly 3 years so I know how I need/want my food to taste!!! Can't wait to go back on a Saturday to try their lunch!
A good location to relax at noon. (Feels) Very authentic Japanese. The food and service are great.
Great food and nice place to go
Wonderful food!
My favorite kitchen in Munich Feel like home ❤️
I ate Toshikoshi soba and it was very delicious. it's recommended!
Cozy place, very clean and with a japanese market attached to it. Delicious food, friendly staff and good service! Try the business lunch and have a dessert afterwards. If you are in a big group and going in rush hours, I would call them first to check if there's room.
Authentic Japanese cafe where you can dine in or take out. They have a great assortment of Japanese teas (green tea, genmai tea, hoji tea, soba tea, etc) and a cute selection of Japanese sweets such as green tea mousse, green tea Kuchen, Windbeutel, Yuzu Blamange, Michi, etc). They also sell Japanese China and other tableware, as well as some groceries in their shop that shares the same space as the cafe.
Cute and cozy little Bistro to have a quick Japanese meal and authentic Japanese sweets like Matcha mousse with great selection of green tea. You can also get beautiful Kokedama plants and Japanese china, also selected high end groceries, different assortment than the ones you see everywhere else. It’s like a gift shop & bistro & grocery store in one - all “ Japan “. The location is absolute central, close to Isartor.
friendliest Japanese owner ever
Great store with all essentials for real japanese cuisine. They also carry high end products that are hard to find elsewhere. They also offer courses that are great fun.
